Update - July 2020:
This year we have been concentrating on AKC FastCAT (lure coursing) with both DeeDee & Cloe. DeeDee LOVES any lure coursing & just finished her 2nd level AKC FastCAT title @ the Lost Coast KC, Ferndale,CA this month.
Update - 2019:
We just received word that DeeDee finished 2018 as the #1 Manchester Terrier in UKC & has been invited to the UKC Nationals this June in Michigan - Wahooo!!!!!
2/18: DeeDee is our first homebred girl and she's been amazing! She has exceeded all of my expectations. Last year (2017) we finished her AKC CH, her International CH, and her barn hunt RATI title. This year, we finished her UKC CH, her UKC lure coursing aptitude test (only hounds are allowed a lure coursing title), and her AKC lure coursing ability test. In 2019, we are hoping to have her follow her mom into agility. What a versatile breed!!

DeeDee winning 1st place, Winner's Bitch, Best of Winners, Best of Breed Owner Handler and then Group 1, Terrier OH Group! She went on to finish her CH with another major the next day! So proud of our 1st homebred mannie!

DeeDee winning Best in Sweeps over a nice veteran @ the Manchester Regional Specialty, Rose City Classic, Jan., 2016
Dee Dee is from our first homebred litter of standard manchesters. She is a happy, curious, never-stops-moving kinda girl (loves, loves, loves chasing the birds & bunnies) with a sweet temperament. Her mother is Cloe and her father is GCH Jetcity's Cactus Jack, from Lisa Nonog up in Washington (thank you for letting me use Jack Jr., Lisa!). Her pedigree includes such greats as MBIS BISS GCH MEDLEY'S WAR HUNT, & GCh Oasis Highjack the Show HOF ROM. Last year - 2017 - Dee Dee finished her AKC CH & received her Barn Hunt Instinct title (RATI). This year (2018) we are having a lot of fun as we have expanded to try other venues. DeeDee entered her first Lure coursing instinct trials in April and she passed with flying colors! We hope to enter more AKC CAT events and expand our venues. She also finished her UKC CH title this year.

Di Bragano's Starz & Stripes 4-Ever, CGC, TKI, FDC, DCAT,
Agility Titles: O-NAC/OJC/TJ-N/O-HP-N/NHC/I-HC - "Cloe"
aka, "Niblet"
7/1/11-8/26/21
We said goodby to my "Niblet" in August. She had been losing weight without any explanation, from 15 to 12, then to 10). A full battery of tests revealed nothing. Then, August 11th she woke up and I could tell she was in a lot of pain. I took her to the vets - they said she had a tumor, it was in a very difficult place, and there was a good chance she would not survive surgery without the guarantee that they could even remove the tumor. By then, my feisty, loving girl was down to 10 pounds. I could not stand the thought of losing her that way and made the difficult decision to set her free. Its taken me months (December) to even talk about it - I miss her so! My daughter had this beautiful picture created for me.

2019:
Ms Cloe has qualified & has received an invite to attend the NADAC Nationals - what an honor!!
In addition,We've started off the year with 2 successful AKC fastCAT runs, a new AKC fun sport that you can do with any breed (and even an "All American").
2018 is the year Cloe & I finally stepped into the agility ring. At our 1st trial (NADAC trial here in town), Cloe Q'd all but 1 time!! The next weekend we moved up to novice & she Q'd 8 of the 12 times - she would have done more but was not feeling well Saturday. And on Sept 29th & 30th she passed her Canine Good Citizen & Novice Trick Dog Titles. Cloe also added Q's towards her AKC agility title, & received her 1st Novice Agility title in "regulars" @ the Ready-2-Run NADAC trial Oct 26-28th. She has added the above titles to her name after the mdt-Ability Agility trial Nov 17-18th. She then added 2 legs towards her AKC Coursing Ability Test the end of November in Hollister, CA.
Cloe was my first standard manchester and has endeared me to the breed. She is quick, agile, and fearless. She has the instincts that the breed is known for and tries hard to use them on the rabbits and quail in our yard. Cloe has wizzed through intro, beginner, and intermediate agility classes and I am really excited to see what she can accomplish! DeeDee is from Cloe's litter of 2015. Cloe lives with my daughter.
Cloe camping at Fallen Leaf Lake with my son - forgive the whiskers - we are camping, after all!
I've been asked that by many of my mini friends. One spent most of one show shaking his head and saying, "Its hard to see you without an aussie." I had left my aussies home so as not to compete against my own breeding and to get Cloe accustomed to showing.
I had been looking at manchesters for the past 5 years. I wanted a smaller dog with less hair (I thought) and have always liked the looks of the manchester. I had spoken with several breeders but the time had not been right. In 2011 I decided to give it serious consideration. I spoke with several breeders and Ed and Jeanette Tonini had just had a litter. I went for a visit and in the end, came home with Cloe. Cloe is the daughter to BISS GR. CH. Medley's War Hunt, "Gunner" the 4 time National Specialty winner and BISS - a beautiful dog.
I have found manchester's to be as far from an aussie as they get and we have had many challenges this past year, but I think both Cloe and I have finally found our stride.
Cloe is now the offical leg warmer of Brad in the evenings when he watches TV. She is quick, curious, and loves to try and get the aussies to play (even though they think she is a bit rude in her advances). She has already received her junior international CH. through IABCA, but has not proven herself in the AKC ring. This may be the impetuous for us to break into agility and obedience - depending on mom's stamina!
Cloe is affectionately known as "the Niblet" and "Ms Nibs". Cloe had a habit of nibbling on my face and I would always be saying, "No nibbles". So my friend Cyndi suggested we nickname her Niblet and the name has stuck.
