We are retiring 1 of our males and we are looking for his forever home.  My dogs are not “kennel” dogs.  They have been part of my family, have travelled to dog shows, camping, and get regular walks.  They are leashed trained, crate trained & are affectionate.  The ideal home I envision for Jordie is one in which he is a family pet, allowed to go places, get regular exercise, and given lots of attention.  Most of my dogs have had extensive health testing:  hip/eye/& a full genetic disease panel.   My desire is not to “get rid” of Jordie but to place him in a home where he can shine.  Please feel free to call or email with any questions  775-425-4040 (I do screen my calls so if you get my machine, I will call you right back if you leave a message).

Jordie is a 1.5 year old.  He likes kids, puppies, and would do fine with another dog (female preferred but the right male).  Jordie has received his UKC championship and travels well, enjoys new places and was fine with a judge going over him.   He would be a good performance prospect also.  He enjoys our other dogs so I believe he would do better with another dog that would like him.  He also likes puppies.  He seems very open to children when I have introduced him to them and he is very affectionate.  He would enjoy lovies and having his own “human”. 

Rehoming:

No reputable breeder places a puppy or dog with the idea that it may need to be re-homed in the future, but it does happen.  Death, divorce, and other life changes sometimes make it impossible to keep their pet.  On an individual basis, this page will include those looking for just the right forever home, and the information needed to help families decide if the dog would be a good fit for their family.
