I've been asked that by many of my mini friends. One spent most of one show shaking his head and saying, "Its hard to see you without an aussie." I had left my aussies home so as not to compete against my own breeding and to get Cloe accustomed to showing.
I had been looking at manchesters for the past 5 years. I wanted a smaller dog with less hair (I thought) and have always liked the looks of the manchester. I had spoken with several breeders but the time had not been right. In 2010 I decided to give it serious consideration. I spoke with several breeders and Ed and Jeanette Tonini had just had a litter. I went for a visit and, in the end, came home with Cloe.
Cloe is now the offical leg warmer of Brad in the evenings when he watches TV. She is quick, curious, loves to try and get the aussies to play (even though they think she is a bit rude in her advances), and is the only one here with a tail. She has already received her junior international CH. through IABCA, and will be starting her AKC career in the near future. We are hoping to break into agility and obedience - depending on mom's stamina!
