Comet's  is a very smart, loving, and loyal dog who is well-trained.  We envision the right famly  home for Comet to be one in which has had aussies before, a home in which  there is a leader, and where he will get regular exercise and a buddy.  He prefers women though he gets along fine with men,  and would be fine with another dog - depending on the dog.  He had been teased through a fence by young children/boys), and we feel a home with older children would fit him best.   He would do well with someone who does not lead a sedentary life (he is an aussie after all and needs regular exercise).  He is not "high-drive" and needs a normal amount of exercise.  Comet is 5 years old and has spent all of his life with his first family, and so a period of adjustment is to be expected.  We will not consider any home with more than 1 dog as we believe he needs attention that only a small pack can provide.  He IS NOT a rescue and has NEVER been abused.  If interested, please call me at 775-425-4040.  I will require a home inspection.  Although his first family has given him up, we want only the best forever home for him.
